Frequently Ask Questions

  • We'll go more in depth about your reasons for beginning therapy and go over your background. Together we will identify your goals and you will have an opportunity to ask any additional questions you may have.

  • Most therapy sessions last about 50 to 60 minutes. However, session lengths can vary based on your needs.

  • The frequency of therapy sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Typically, sessions are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly in the beginning and over time may decrease as you make progress.

  • Yes. However, by law, therapists must report if you are at risk of harming yourself or others, or if there is suspected abuse of a child, elderly person, or dependent adult. This will be further discussed during your initial session.

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so within 24 hours of your appointment. Any cancellations or no-shows not made within this timeframe will be charged the full amount of the session.
